When the operation is finished set the mode selector to the required
position (summer, winter or off).
Adjusting the heating water temperature (fig. I)
fig. I
To adjust the temperature of the heating water, turn the knob with the
symbol
: turn clockwise to increase the temperature, or anticlock-
wise to reduce it.
When turning the knob the display starts blinking, displaying the tem-
perature variation.
Depending on the type of system, the most suitable tempera-
ture range can be pre-selected:
- standard systems 40-80 °C
- floor installations 20-45°C.
For details see paragraph “Boiler configuration”.
Adjusting the heating water temperature with an external probe
connected
When an external probe is installed, the delivery temperature is au-
tomatically selected by the system, which quickly adjusts the ambi-
ent temperature according to variations in the outside temperature.
If you want to alter the temperature value (increasing or reducing
the value automatically calculated by the electronic card), use the
heating water temperature selector: turn it clockwise to increase the
temperature, or anticlockwise to reduce it. The correction possibility
is between -5 and +5 levels of comfort, shown on the digital display
by rotating the knob.
Adjustment of the domestic hot water temperature (fig. J)
fig. J
To adjust the domestic hot water temperature (bathrooms, showers,
kitchen, etc.), turn the knob with the symbol
: turn clockwise to
increase the temperature, or anticlockwise to reduce it.
When turning the knob the display starts blinking, displaying the tem-
perature variation.
The domestic hot water adjustment field is between 35 and 60 °C.
When selecting the temperature, for heating or hot water, the display
shows the value being selected. About 4 seconds after selection, the
change is stored and the display resumes the outlet temperature or
the temperature of the domestic hot water detected by the probe.
Boiler start-up (fig. K)
fig. K
A - green led boiler
status
B - red led failure
in progress
If a programmable timer or a thermostat are installed, these must be
in the On position and adjusted to a temperature higher than that of
the environment so that the boiler starts.
The boiler will be in standby until the burner switches on following a
heat request. The green LED (A), on the left side of the control panel,
turns green to indicate the presence of a flame.
The boiler will be in function until the selected temperature is reached,
afterwards it will be in “standby” again keeping the outlet temperature
displayed.
If faults arise in ignition or operations, the boiler performs a “SAFETY
STOP”: on the control panel the green led will go out, the display will
show a flashing fault code and, in the event of a lockout also the red
led (B) will come on.
To identify the fault codes and to reset the boiler, see the chapter
“Warning lights and faults”.
Reset function (fig. L)
fig. L
To reset the operation, rotate the mode selector to
then return it to
the desired position, ensuring that the red pilot light is not lit.
At this point the boiler, if the correct operating conditions are restored,
restarts automatically; when the burner ignites, the green LED lights
up and the display indicates the current operating temperature.
The mere rotation of the selector to position
does not cause
the reset of the boiler.
If the reset attempts do not activate the operation, contact the local
Assistance Service.
In normal conditions, when the mode selector is positioned to
, the
digital display shows "- -" (fig. M) unless the antifreeze phase (AF)
is in progress or the combustion analysis function is enabled (CO).
