SETTING OF THE AIR DAMPER SERVOMOTOR
The ST0 lever is factory set to allow the air damper to fully close on
shutdown.
Do not modify this setting for any reason.
The ST1 lever controls the air for the 1
st
stage flame. It is factory set for
minimal output and must be set during commissioning.
The lever N5 controls the opening of the 1
st
stage gas valve and must,
therefore, be set to operate a few degrees in advance of ST1.
Example: if ST1 is setted at 20
°
then N5 must be at 15
°
.
The ST2 lever controls the air for the 2
nd
stage flame. It has been fac-
tory set to give more air than ST1 but must be set during commission-
ing.
Lever N3 controls the opening of the 2
nd
stage gas valve and must,
therefore, be set a few degrees in advance of ST2.
Example: if ST2 is setted at 30
°
then N3 must be at 25
°
.
REMARK
The servomotor is equipped with two micrometric screws for a careful
setting of ST1 and ST2 cams (see figure).
