1 Introduction
Ridder Growing Solutions supplies both high-tech and simple solutions for large- and
small-scale horticulture companies. Ridder Growing Solutions‘s range is divided into
three product categories:
Water Treatment
Process Automation
Management Systems
The Ridder HortiJet is part of our range of water treatment products and is available
in two models:
HortiJet Pro;
HortiJet-Go!
The difference between these models is in how they are controlled. The HortiJet Pro
offers more advanced options.
This is the installation and user manual for the HortiJet Pro. This manual was
originally published in Dutch.
1.1 Introduction
The HortiJet Pro mixes the water with the fertilizers using a bypass from the main
irrigation pipe; this process is automated. This is also known as a 'bypass fertigation
system'.
The features of this system include:
Proven technology for soil-based crops
Compact and economical solution for large-scale irrigation
Robust, vertical pump for an extensive pressure range
Mixing chamber for improved mixing of water and fertilizers
Dosing channels that can handle up to 1000 L/h
Flexible and intuitive controls
One controller for both fertigation and climate
Remote control option
For hydroponics (cultivation on substrate), we recommend the Ridder FertiMiX.
1.2 Aims
This manual has two aims:
1. The manual describes how to install and connect the HortiJet Pro.
2. This manual describes the functioning of the HortiJet Pro and how to maintain it.
