Pre-rinsing or post-rinsing of the crop can be programmed either by the duration that
rinsing should last, or by a volume in litres.
A time+volume can also be set for both irrigation and rinsing. This means that
irrigation or rinsing will stop once the pre-set volume is reached, or sooner if the pre-
set time has elapsed.
1.8 General
General settings are parameters that usually do not need to be changed once they
have been set. These are the basic controller settings, such as the type of EC and pH
control, degrees of longitude and latitude, and the number of valves present.
1.9 Type of irrigation
An irrigation program can be used for either irrigation or fogging. If the program is
used for irrigation, EC and pH control (if present) will become available and a system
pump output will be enabled. If the program is used for fogging, only an auxiliary
output will be enabled. Only one valve group for irrigation and one valve group for
fogging may be active at the same time.
