Update by connecting your PC and RICOH Ri 2000 with Ethernet cable

IMPORTANT!

Do not disconnect any cable (Communication, Power, and so on) during updating.

Make sure that update firmware is the latest one published on the web.

Do not downgrade, downgrade is not granted.

When update by this method, it is necessary to disable DHCP setting of the IP address.

Run “Ri

2000 Updater.exe”

Key-in the printer IP address to update.

Select Firmware Set.

Click [Update] to send new firmware.

Please update in order of Panel (GIB), Sub Control (SCB) and Engine (CTL).

Note:

You should always update Panel (GIB) first.

Make sure that

“Ready” is displayed in panel each

update, then update next firmware.
