Cleaning & Replacing the Filter
Before Maintenance

Before maintaining or replacing a component, ensure that the power is
turned off. For details, see the section of "Turn off the projector".
Filter Cleaning and Replacement
In the following cases, maintain the
fi
lter and reset the number of hours the
fi
lter
is used:
●
When the
fi
lter hours used reaches the
fi
lter timer value;
●
When the
fi
lter LED blinks.
Cleaning the
fi
lter
1. Turn off the projector and unplug the AC power supply from the power socket.
2. Remove the
fi
lter.
3. Use a brush to gently clean the
fi
lter.
4. Re-install the
fi
lter. Ensure that it is fully inserted into the projector.
Replacing the
fi
lter
1. Turn off the projector and unplug the AC power supply from the power socket.
2. Remove the
fi
lter.
3. Re-install the new
fi
lter. Ensure that it is fully inserted into the projector.
Reset the Filter timer
To reset the
fi
lter timer, see the P54 instruction after cleaning or replacing the
fi
lter.

Cover
Do not operate the
projector when the
fi
lter is removed.
Otherwise, dust
may fall on the
lens assembly,
deteriorating the
image quality.
Do not place small
goods in the air
vent. Otherwise,
the projector may
malfunction.
Warning: For

replace with RICOH
PJ Replacement Air
Filter Type 8.
