By-pass

Tray

The by-pass paper feed roller stops after each rotation due to the on/off
movement of the solenoid.



When off, the spring pulls the latch back down and it catches on the cog.



The by-pass tray lowers slightly after feeding, and the curved metal plate
on the by-pass paper feed roller allows paper to pass the roller upon
completion of each rotation while paper is still feeding.
