: For more information about SC990 and SC991:

1. Execute SP7403 or print an SMC Report (SP5990) to read the history of the 10 most recent

logged errors.

2. If you press [0] on the operation panel with the SP selection menu displayed, you will see detailed

information about the recently logged SC990 or SC991 errors, including the software file name,
line number, and so on. (1) above is the recommended method, because another SC could write
over the information for the previous SC.

• An incorrect argument in the program.
• An incorrect internal parameter.
• Work memory not sufficient.
• An error occurred that could not be detected by other SC codes.

• Turn the main power switch off/on.
• Go into the SP mode. Do SP7901 to display details about SC992 (software file name,

line number, and variable), and inform your supervisor of the results.
