Cleaning the Paper Feed Roller and the
Friction Pad

CAUTION:

Papers other than the plain paper
produce more paper dust. Clean the
paper feed roller and the friction pad
to avoid paper misfeeds.

Cleaning the Paper Feed
Roller (for Tray 1) and the
Friction Pad

Pull out Tray 1 slowly while lift-
ing it up a little.

The paper feed roller (for Tray 1) is
installed as shown in the illustra-
tion.

The friction pad is installed as
shown in the illustration.

Lower the base panel by pushing
"Push". When paper is loaded in
the tray, push down on the paper.
