SAFETY AND REGULATORY INFORMATION
Regulatory Information
This product is a Class 1 Laser Product according
to IEC 60825-1:2007 Ed. 2.0 and complies with
21 CFR 1040.1 pursuant to Laser Notice No. 50.
A laser source with a diffraction optical element
is embedded in the product, which produces a
maximum output power of 1.1 mW at the
aperture with a maximum wavelength of 825
nm.
FCC
This equipment has been tested and found to comply
with the limits for a Class A digital device, pursuant to
part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to
provide reasonable protection against harmful
interference when the equipment is operated in a
commercial environment. This equipment generates,
uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if
not installed and used in accordance with the
instruction manual, may cause harmful interference to
radio communications. Operation of this equipment in
a residential area is likely to cause harmful
interference in which case the user will be required to
correct the interference at their own expense.
Changes or modifications not expressly approved by
Postea, Inc. could void the user’s FCC granted authority
to operate the equipment.

Always pull out the power plug before
performing any work on the device.

Electric shock hazard if the power cable is
damaged!

Check the power cable for damage regularly
and replace it immediately if it is damaged.

On the side of the device, maintain a
clearance of at least 3 cm in order to prevent
damage to the cable.
CAUTION!
Do not open the scanning head!
The warranty and certification is void if this
stipulation is ignored. The device may only be
opened by authorized persons.
