V. OPERATION
5.1- Intended use
- The product is intended for outdoor domestic use in private gardens or lawns.
- The tool is not intended for professional or industrial use (ex.: in public parks, sports grounds…).
- The blower is designed to blow leaves as well as lawn debris such as grass clippings and small twigs
(smaller than 5mm). It is not to be used for any other purpose outside of the described scope in this
manual.
- The device is only to be used on dry surfaces, do NOT operate on damp or wet working area.
- Do not use the machine for unsuitable purposes (for ex. For blowing fire, flammable or explosive
material, blowing of metal clippings, nails …)
5.2- Working with the blower
WARNING
- Before proceeding to your job, read the section “Safety”.
It is recommended to first practice by blowing over a small surface. This also
helps you get accustomed to your machine.
- Wear personal protective equipment: gloves; safety footwear, snug fitting
clothing, goggles or face protection, hearing and head protection devices.
Use vibration-proof gloves.
ATTENTION
! National or local regulations may restrict the use of the
machine to certain hours or periods. Check with your local authority.
Note: careful daily inspection should be performed before use and after a drop
or shock to identify major defects. Do not use the machine until the defects have
been repaired.
Restrict working hours to a minimum and always take rest periods.
For proper use, after each work period take a rest period (for ex take a rest for
10 minutes after a work period of 30 minutes).
5.2- Operation
- Place the blower on your back and adjust the shoulder strap in a comfortable position and hold the
control handle at hip height
- Always work away from solid objects such as walls, fences, etc. or objects likely to be damaged such
as cars, windows, greenhouses…
- Whilst you work do not place the blower tube too close to the leaves.
The machine will be more effective if you keep it at a certain distance away from the leaves and blow
the leaves forwards.

Tips for using your blower
. Always try and blow
dry
leaves, cuttings or general garden debris. Wet materials are more difficult
to blow.
. Avoid using the blower on areas where there are stones, or other hard objects. These objects can be
thrown out or projected at great speed likely to damage your plants or objects nearby...
