The “End of User Input” is used to confirm the whole text in the input field. By confirming this
button with “OK”, the edit name sub-dialog will be closed, adopting the new name for the
frequency which can be seen in the control field above (here: “Edit Name of Frequency”
121.650 MHz).
Pressing the “ESC” or “HOME” (s. positions 1 and 2, Fig. 16) will close the dialog without
adopting the values (and open the “bearing” page in case of the “HOME” button).
6.1.3 Function Channel 16
Pressing hotkey
“Ch. 16” (s. Fig. 5, position 6) enables instant access to maritime emergency
channel 16.
If this function is activated, the hotkey name indication adopts the value of the previously
active frequency, so that it can be quickly switched back if needed.

6.1.4 Function Repeat
Pressing the hotkey “Repeat” (s. Fig. 5, position 7) after a signal loss during the normal
bearing operation shows the last valid bearing, reference and level values (s. Fig. 17, field B).

The last bearing clock in the lowermost line of the digital bearing display (s. Fig. 17) shows
the elapsed time since the last valid bearing was interrupted/lost.
Depending on the availability of compass or GPS data, also other information can be
displayed in the numeric bearing indication window (s. Fig. 17, field A).
