SET-UP 

CONTINUED

CONNECTING (& DISCONNECTING) LP GAS CYLINDER

Once the propane cylinder is secured and the 
regulator and hose are connected with confirmation 
of no gas leaks, place the box portion of the propane 
tank cover onto the metal base 

(Figure G: #1).

 Place 

the lid portion of the propane tank cover onto the 
box 

(Figure G: #2).

Do not sit or stand on top of propane tank cover.

FINAL ASSEMBLY

CONNECTING THE LP GAS CYLINDER

Check to make sure there is no debris in the head of 
the LP gas cylinder or in the head of the regulator 
valve. Make sure you check the burner and burner 
ports as well. Connect the gas line to tank by turning 
knob clockwise as shown in 

Figure E.

Always hand-tighten only.

DISCONNECTION THE LP GAS CYLINDER

Make sure the valve on the LP gas tank is 

OFF

.

Disconnect the gas line by turning the knob counter 
clockwise (as shown in 

Figure F

)

 

until it disengages 

from the valve.

Note:

 The movement and 

combustion of gas will 
create low, unavoidable 
levels of noise.

Passage of air/gas across 
irregular surfaces

Remove any tight bends or 
kinks in gas supply line

Excessive gas pressure on 
natural gas units

Check or reset gas regulator 
pressure

Fire table is smoking/
sooting excessively

Note:

 It is natural and 

unavoidable for appliance 
sets to produce moderate 
levels of carbon (soot) 
where flames contact  
the media

Poor fuel quality

Exchange LP Gas Cylinder  
with a new tank

Excessive flame impingement  
or blockage

Separate the media to allow 
more flame passage

Improper fuel and/or air 
mixture

Remove any foreign items from 
the flame pattern and check for 
proper orifice sizing

Burner flame is too low  
or too high

Incorrect gas supply or 
pressure

Check for proper gas supply 
pressure

Blocked burner orifice or 
burner ports

Free burner orifice and burner 
ports of any debris or blockage

Improper burner orifice size
