2.1 Application Example
1. Use HDMI cable to connect HDMI port of bluray player or DVD to

on MSP 318N TX
(transmitter) and connect

HDMI Out
”
on MSP 318N RX (receiver) to HDMI port of projector by
HDMI cable.
2. Use optical fiber cable to connect SFP on MSP 318N TX and RX.
3. MSP 318N Extender provides bidirectional IR control, connecting as needed: one transmitter
connects to the IR receiver, the other transmitter connects to the IR transmitter, or both the IR
receiver and the IR transmitter.
4. Connect the RS232 control device to the RS232 interface of any transmitter (either transmitter
or receiver, the data is bidirectional) and the RS232 interface of the controlled device to the
RS232 interface of another transmitter .
5. Supply power to TX and RX via 5V/1A power supply.
