Note:
Before recharging the Apache’s LiPo battery after fl ying, always wait 10-15 minutes for it to cool down.
1.
Turn off both the Apache and the controller.
2.
Pull out the charge cord from the left side of the controller.
(Pic 1).
3.
Carefully plug the charging cord into Apache (Pic 2). DO
NOT FORCE. When inserted properly, the charging cord
should fi t easily in the charging port. Incorrect insertion of
the charging cord will damage the Apache and may create
a hazard.
4.
Turn the switch to the ON position on the controller. (Pic 3).
5.
The controller’s LED will illuminate green while
simultaneously fl ashing red. (Pic 3).
6.
When the LED shines steadily red without fl ashing, charging
is complete.
7.
Disconnect the charging cord from the Apache.
Remove the screw
to release the
battery cover for
battery installation
and removal.

Remove the screw
above the battery
cover by turning it
counter-clockwise
using a Phillips-head
screwdriver.
2.
Install 6 “AA” size
batteries in the battery
compartment following
the polarity shown
inside.
3.
Replace and
tighten the screw
clockwise.

Controller Battery Installation
Apache Charging Procedure
Flying Your Apache
• Gently push the throttle up to raise your Apache about 1.5 feet (0.5 meter) to 3 feet (1 meter) high.

The Apache can fl y for about 5-6 minutes after 25-30 minutes of charging.
Then, set the
ON/OFF switch of the
Apache to ON.
With the throttle (or left)
stick of controller in the
down position, move the
controller’s power/charge
switch to ON.
Set the infrared band selector
switch on the transmitter to
the same letter found on the
bottom of the Apache.
Place the Apache on
the ground with its tail
pointing toward you.
If the Apache spirals to the left or keeps turning left, turn the left and right trim
dial clockwise until the Apache no longer spirals.
If the Apache spirals to the right or keeps turning right, turn the left and right trim
dial counter-clockwise until the Apache no longer spirals.
