The C64 responds with 

OK

 to confirm that the program is intact on the disk. 

However, If you see 

?VERIFYING ERROR

 then the current program in 

memory is not the same as the program saved to disk.

There are many other BASIC commands relating to disks. Please visit the Retro Games 
Ltd website for links to further online resources.

EJECTING

The current media section in Media access shows the currently inserted virtual disk 
(and tape and cartridge or stand-alone program file if any have been auto-loaded in 
the same session).

In Media access, push 

↓

 on the joystick until you enter the current media section. Now 

highlight the relevant 

Eject

 button and press 

FIRE

 to remove that file from the disk 

drive, the tape deck or the cartridge slot.

Please note that when you save your current state using the Save/load state MENU 
option (NOT the same as saving a program to disk), the saved state assigns to the 
most recently inserted virtual media file. If you eject the most recently inserted file, 
then the previously inserted file becomes the most recent, and saved states are 
assigned to that file instead.
