Enable 60 Hz output
Choose
THEA500 Mini
’s HDMI video output
frequency. Most of the built in games were
developed in Europe where 50 Hz was common, so
it is best to choose 50 Hz output if your TV supports
it. Otherwise 60 Hz will work fine.
If you change the output mode you will need to
perform a TV test by pressing
X
. When activated,
THEA500 Mini
will change to the new output mode
for 20 seconds.
If the image is visible during the TV test, press
Y
to accept the new mode. If not (for example, if all
that is displayed is a black screen) wait until the test
has completed and
THEA500 Mini
will revert to the
previous output mode.
If you have chosen a new output mode,
THEA500
Mini
will not allow you to close this menu until you
test and accept it.
Use screen edges
Enable this option if your television can display a full
720p image without cropping. Disable this option if
you find the edges of the image are being clipped
off. This is enabled by default.
