buttons.
Mapping the gamepad
When a port is configured as a
Joystick
or
CD32 pad
the connected
THEGAMEPAD
can be reconfigured to assign any control or action to any
button, choosing from a combination of
Joystick actions

CD32 pad actions
,
Keyboard actions
,
Mouse actions
and
Special actions
such as opening the virtual
keyboard.
The current action maps of a
port
can be viewed and edited by selecting its
Map gamepad
option. This will show a diagram of
THEGAMEPAD
with a label
on each button showing the current assigned action.
By pressing and holding
R
, the diagram labels will switch to show any
secondary actions that have been assigned (the secondary action map).
