Manual DCF Signal Reception
In normal time mode press and hold the A key for
approx. 3 seconds. The second hand stops at the
12 o’clock position. The aerial icon
flashes on the
display. Right of the aerial icon the radio signal icon
indicates the reception strength (no reception: no bar,
good reception: 4 bars).
After receiving the radio time signal the digital time is
set and the watch will adjust the hands automatically.
This process may take several minutes.
Note: Do not move the watch until reception is finished.
Automatic DCF Signal Reception
The DCF time signal will be checked each night at
3 am. After successful reception of the DCF time signal,
the hands of the watch synchronise to the received time
signal. If the watch failed to receive the DCF time
signal, it retries to receive the signal one hour later (all
in all three attempts).
Notes on Receiving the Radio Time Signal
Hold the watch at least 1 meter away from electrical
appliances (such as televisions, microwaves, speakers,
computers or metallic objects). If you use the watch in
reinforced concrete buildings, place the unit close to
windows or other building openings.
