C.4.2 Motion Sensor Input
To connect a motion sensor to the transceiver, follow these steps:
1. Using a RJ-45 male connector, connect the motion data to pin 5 and ground
to pin 3.
2. Connect the RJ-45 to the port marked Com4 Motion on the rear panel of the
transceiver (see item 13 in Figure 60 ).

C.4.3 Time Input
To connect an external clock to the transceiver, follow these steps:
1. Using a RJ-45 male connector, connect the time data to pin 5 and ground to
pin 3.
2. Connect the RJ-45 to the port marked Com10 Time on the rear panel of the
transceiver (see item 11 in Figure 60 ).
3. Using a BNC male connector, connect the 1PPS pulse to the port marked
1PPS on the rear panel of the transceiver for setting the internal clocks of the
sonar.
