If the amplifier temperature gets too high, the amplifier will activate thermal protection which consists of the following:
1. The output will be muted allowing the circuitry to begin cooling. Releasing mute is prohibited.
2. The display will blink “Hot” to indicate protection has been triggered.
3. Apart from placing the unit into standby mode and dimming the display, no other actions are permitted until the unit
has cooled.
Once the amplifier has cooled sufficiently, it will automatically resume operation in a muted state at the previous volume
level. Normal operation may be resumed by exiting mute.
If the unit consistently overheats, consider relocating the unit for better air circulation or to a cooler environment.
