The drive is located toward the front of the unit and is secured in place by a bracket. You
will need to remove this bracket assembly before you can remove the drive. To get
access to 2 of the mounting screws, you will first have to unplug the drive power and data
connectors as shown below.
You will also have to cut the nylon cable tie that is securing the front panel cables to the
drive bracket. Be very careful not to cut any of the wire or damage the insulation. The
location of cable tie is shown below. Use wire cutters similar to the one in the picture.
Remove the 4 mounting screws that attach the bracket mount as shown below. Make
sure that you remove the washers and keep them with the screws.
