7.4 • Extension profile
When you opt for installing the Fixvent Mono AK/UT
EVO
and Fixscreen Mono AK
EVO
, with a dee-
per box size compared to the standard window frame group (e.g. for a better U-value or acoustic
value without loss of flow), you can order an optional, additional extension profile to finish the
bottom of the box.
The dimension of the extension profile depends on the box type:
Small No extension profile
Medium 30 mm extension profile
Large 60 mm extension profile
X-Large 90 mm extension profile
XX-Large 120 mm extension profile

7.5 • Side channel with in-depth profile and tube profile
The optional side channel with in-depth profile allows extra spacing between the window and
screen fabric (e.g. for fitting an insect screen).
The in-depth profile is available in fixed dimensions (i.e. 30 x 47 mm combined with a side chan-
nel, and 30 x 60 mm combined with a coupling side channel).
Specifically, the in-depth profile ensures that the depth of the window is extended by 30 mm
outwards. Drill through the in-depth profile (using Ø5mm screws) on the marked spot into the
fixed part of the side channel and then screwfix it.
The filling profile is screwfixed along with the base profile. (cfr 4.2.3)
