Operation

•  Start the operating system (e.g. at least Windows 2000/XP or later) or the Android device.
•  Connect the USB receiver to the computer. The operating system recognizes the new hardware (USB

keyboard and USB mouse) and installs the necessary driver (included in the operating system). The

same applies if the USB receiver is connected to an Android device.

•  The product is ready for operation on concluding the driver installation.

Operation

•  Two functions levels can be selected with the “Fn” button:
1 LED is off: Mouse cursor arrow
2  LED  lights  up:  Multimedia  buttons  (increase  volume  (“VOL+”)  or  reduce  volume  (“VOL-”),  Mute

(“MUTE”), fast forward/jump forward (“FF”), rewind/return (“REW”) as well as play/pause (“PLAY/

II

”)

•  The rippled surface at the upper end of the control unit serves as a touchpad, similar to a notebook. The

surface marked on the right edge functions like the scroll wheel of a mouse. The left/right mouse button

is marked with a picture (however, the function level for the mouse operation must be activated, see

above).

•  The “Esc” key corresponds with the ESC key of a PC keyboard. The key with the house symbol starts

the explorer with windows. The key with the 3x3 keyboard has different functions depending on the

operating system , e.g. a virtual keyboard fade-in with Android devices.

•  If there is no user operation the control unit switches itself off after certain time to save power. Then

press a desired key for reactivation.

•  The USB receiver and control unit are already tuned into each other on delivery. Keep a distance of

approximately 30 cm between the USB receiver and control unit if a renewed tuning in procedure is

required and keep the “Esc” key pressed down at the control unit for 3 seconds (the USB receiver must

be supplied with power for this tuning in procedure. Fully charged batteries must be installed in the

control unit).

•  If the touchpad does not function properly press the right mouse button at the control unit (first select

the correct functions level. LED light must go out. See above).

Maintenance and cleaning

Apart from the occasional battery change the product is maintenance free. There are no components

inside the product which need to be maintained by you.
To clean the product, a dry, soft and clean cloth is sufficient. Touching the housing too hard (special trans-

parent cover and touchpad) can cause scuffs.
Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents, cleaning alcohol or other chemical solutions as they can

cause damage to the housing and malfunctioning.

Disposal

a) General

At the end of its service life, dispose of the product in accordance with applicable regulatory

guidelines.

Remove  any  inserted  (rechargeable)  batteries  and  dispose  of  them  separately  from  the

product.

b) (Rechargeable) batteries

batteries. Disposing of them in the household waste is prohibited.

Contaminated batteries/rechargeable batteries are labeled with this symbol to indicate that

disposal in the domestic waste is forbidden. The designations for the heavy metals involved

are: Cd = Cadmium, Hg = Mercury, Pb = Lead.

Used (rechargeable) batteries as well as button cells can be returned free of charge to collection points

in your municipality, our stores or wherever (rechargeable) batteries are sold.
You thus fulfill your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.

moist or wet.

•  This product is not a toy, keep it out of the reach of children.

•   Use in spaces with a great amount of dust, with flammable gases, vapors or solvents is not

permitted. There is a danger of fire and explosion!

•    Do not leave packaging materials lying about, they may become a dangerous plaything in

the hands of children.

•   Handle the product with care; impacts, blows or falling from even low heights can cause

damage.

Battery / rechargeable battery information

•  Keep (rechargeable) batteries out of the reach of children.
•  Do not leave batteries lying around. There is a risk that children or pets swallow batteries. If a battery

has been swallowed, seek medical advice immediately.

•  Leaking or damaged (rechargeable) batteries can cause burns when in contact with skin. You should

thus wear suitable gloves in such a case.

•  Chemicals running out of batteries/rechargeable batteries are very aggressive. Extensive damage may

be caused to objects or surfaces which come into contact with these chemicals. Therefore keep bat-

teries/rechargeable batteries in a suitable place.

•  Do not short-circuit and disassemble batteries. Do not throw into fire. There is a risk of explosion!
•  Do not recharge common batteries that are not rechargeable. There is a risk of explosion! Only use

batteries exclusively provided for this. Use a suitable charger.

•  Do not mix batteries or rechargeable batteries . Either use batteries or rechargeable batteries.
•  Do not mix any batteries or rechargeable batteries with different capacities (e.g. full or half full batteries

or rechargeable batteries).

•  Always replace the whole set of batteries/rechargeable batteries.
•  Please note the correct polarity (plus/+ and Minus/-) when inserting the batteries/rechargeable batteries.
•  If you want to use rechargeable batteries please ensure that the reduced output voltage (batteries

1.5 V, rechargeable batteries - 1.2 V) does not lead to a reduction in the operating time and a reduction

in LED brightness.

Therefore we recommend you only use high quality alkaline batteries for operating the control unit to

ensure long and fault free operation.

Inserting batteries, changing batteries

•  Open the battery compartment at the rear of the control unit and insert two type AAA/Micro batteries

with the correct polarity (please note: plus/+ and minus/-) Reclose the battery compartment.

•  It is recommended changing the battery when the wireless range is greatly reduced or the computer no

longer reacts to the control commands of the presenter.
