Installing drives/fan
• If required, fasten a 80 mm fan to the bottom of the frame.
• Mount two drives with four black screws each to the top of the frame.
The lower drive cannot exceed 9.5 mm in height.
The upper drive cannot exceed 12.7 mm in height.
Before installing the frame in your PC housing, you can connect one of the drives to
a USB port using the included USB-to-SATA adapter.
The red LED on the adapter lights up when the drive is supplied with power. The
green LED flashes when data is being transferred.
Installation in PC housing
If you do not have thorough knowledge on the installation of this product, have the
installation carried out by a professional or in a specialist shop!
Incorrect installation of the product will cause damage to the product, your computer
and all connected devices.
Caution, risk of fatal injury!
Turn off the computer in which you wish to install the product, and all connected
devices. Disconnect all devices from the power supply by unplugging them. Simply
turning off the devices using the on/off switch does not mean a device is voltage-
free!
• Open your computer's case and remove the lid carefully.
• Insert the product in a free 8.9 cm (3.5”) mounting bay, observing the right direction. Fasten
the product in the housing with 4 silver screws.
• Connect both SATA data cables to the drives and corresponding connectors on the
motherboard.
Ensure correct alignment of the plugs. Do not use force when facilitating the
connections, as this could damage the connectors.
• Connect both SATA plugs on the power cable to the drives. Connect the 4-pole plug to the
PC’s power supply unit.
• If necessary, fasten all cables using cable ties to prevent them from hanging into your
computer's CPU fan.
• Reclose your computer's case.
• Connect your computer and monitor to the power supply and turn on all devices.
• If your computer does not start up normally, turn it off immediately and check all settings and
cable connections.
Before reopening your computer, disconnect it from the power supply; see above!
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the
household waste. At the end of its service life, dispose of the product in accordance
with applicable regulatory guidelines.
You thus fulfill your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the
environment.

Intended use
The product is intended to mount two 6.35 cm (2.5”) drives in one 8.9 cm (3.5”) mounting bay
on your PC.
It is intended for indoor use only. Do not use it outdoors. Contact with moisture, e.g. in
bathrooms, must be avoided under all circumstances.
For safety and approval purposes, you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. If you use
the product for purposes other than those described above, the product may be damaged.
In addition, improper use can cause hazards such as short circuiting, fire, electric shock etc.
Read the instructions carefully and keep them. Make this product available to third parties only
together with its operating instructions.
