7. Inserting a Slide/Film into the Holder
Treat slides, negatives and films with care; every scratch or fingerprint will be visible
in the later scan.
a) Inserting the slide
• Open the slide holder (labelled “Slide Adapter”) by folding up the lid (labelled “THIS SIDE
UP”).
• Insert a single slide (or a slide holder with several slides).
• Close the slide holder carefully.
b) Inserting negative
• Open the negative holder (labelled “Negative Adapter”) by folding up the lid (labelled “THIS
SIDE UP”).
• Insert a single negative (or a negative strip).
• Close the negative holder carefully.
c)
Inserting a Super 8 film
• Open the negative holder (labelled “Negative Adapter”) by folding up the lid (labelled “THIS
SIDE UP”).
•
Insert the Super 8 film holder, so that the side labelled “THIS SIDE UP” points up and latches
in the opening of the negative holder.
•
Insert the Super 8 film into the holder.
• Close the negative holder carefully.
d)
Inserting a 110 film
• Open the negative holder (labelled “Negative Adapter”) by folding up the lid (labelled “THIS
SIDE UP”).
•
Insert the 110 film holder, so that the side labelled “THIS SIDE UP” points up and latches in
the opening of the negative holder.
•
Insert the 110 film into the holder.
• Close the negative holder carefully.
