desired alignment of the camera opening in mind.

•   Screw the dummy dome camera firmly to the ceiling. Use screws and plugs that are suitable for

the surface.

Please make sure that existing cables or wiring not damaged when drilling/screwing

into place.

•   Depending on the surface (level, free of dust and grease), the dummy dome camera can also be

attached with double-sided adhesive tape.

Inserting/replacing the Batteries

•   Open the dummy dome camera by turning the front part slightly anticlockwise. Then, remove the

battery compartment cover. Insert two AA batteries, while ensuring the correct polarity (note

plus/+ and minus/-).

•   Close the dummy dome camera again.
•   A battery change is necessary when the LED lights up only weakly or does not light/blink at all.

Maintenance and cleaning

Maintenance or repair may be performed only by qualified personnel or a specialised repair shop.

The product contains no parts that require servicing. Therefore, do not open/dismantle it (except

result in scratch marks.

Do  not  use  abrasive  cleaning  agents,  cleaning  alcohol  or  other  chemical  solutions,

since these could damage the housing or even impair operation.

General information on batteries/rechargeable batteries

•   Batteries/rechargeable batteries must be kept out of the reach of children.
•   Do not leave batteries/rechargeable batteries lying around; there is a risk that they could be

swallowed by children or pets. If they are swallowed, consult a doctor immediately.

•   Leaking  or  damaged  normal/rechargeable  batteries  in  contact  with  the  skin  can  cause  acid

burns; therefore, use suitable safety gloves.

Liquids leaking from batteries/rechargeable batteries are very chemically aggressive. Objects

or surfaces coming into contact with these liquids might be considerably damaged. Thus, store

batteries/rechargeable batteries in a suitable location.

•   Batteries/rechargeable batteries must not be short-circuited, opened or thrown into fire. There

is a risk of explosion!

•   Do not recharge normal, non-rechargeable batteries, risk of explosion! Only charge recharge-

able batteries that are intended for this purpose; use a suitable battery charger.

•   Never mix standard batteries with rechargeable batteries, use either standard batteries or re-

chargeable batteries.

•   Do not mix batteries/rechargeable batteries with different charge levels (e. g. full and half-full

batteries/rechargeable batteries).

•   Always replace the complete set of batteries/rechargeable batteries.
•   Check that the polarity is correct when inserting the batteries/rechargeable batteries (pay at-

tention to plus and minus).

•   If  you  wish  to  use  rechargeable  batteries  please  note  that,  due  to  the  lower  output  voltage

(batteries = 1.5 V, rechargeable batteries =1.2 V), the operating time will decrease. Therefore,

we recommend that you use high-quality alkaline batteries to ensure long-lasting and reliable

operation.
