Installing the car smartphone holder
When choosing the mounting surface, ensure that you will have a clear view of the
road and will not be distracted when driving. Always comply with all laws governing the
use of mobile phones in cars.
• Select a suitable air vent for securing the smartphone holder to
your vehicle. Choose the correct size option for your air vent:
- A - Narrow vent
- B - Wide vent
• Rotate the clip (2) to the desired position (the clip will click into
place in each position).
• Insert the clip into the air vent until the holder is
securely in place (refer to the left-hand diagram for
the correct orientation).
• If necessary, turn the smartphone holder to adjust
it to the desired position (portrait or landscape
orientation).
Inserting a mobile phone
• Pull the movable clamp (1). Place your smartphone into the holder
in the desired orientation and let go of the clamp to fix your phone
in place.
• To remove your phone, follow the above steps in the reverse order.
• To remove the holder, start by removing your mobile phone.
• After removing your phone, carefully move the holder left and right to
release it from the air vent.
• Caution! When removing the holder, exercise caution to avoid
breaking the clip (2) or the slots on the air vents.
Care and cleaning
Never use aggressive detergents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions, as
these could damage the housing or stop the product from functioning properly.
Use a dry, lint-free cloth to clean the product.
Disposal
This symbol must appear on any electrical and electronic equipment placed on the EU
market. This symbol indicates that this device should not be disposed of as unsorted
municipal waste at the end of its service life.
Owners of WEEE shall dispose of it separately from unsorted municipal waste. Spent batteries
and accumulators, which are not enclosed by the WEEE, as well as lamps that can be removed
from the WEEE in a non-destructive manner, must be removed by end users from the WEEE in a
non-destructive manner before it is handed over to a collection point.
Distributors of electrical and electronic equipment are legally obliged to provide free takeback of
waste. Conrad provides the following return options free of charge (more details on our website):

• at the Conrad collection points
• at the collection points of public waste management authorities or the collection points set up by
manufacturers or distributors within the meaning of the ElektroG

Intended use
This car smartphone holder is designed to secure mobile devices with a width of 52–92 mm. It
attaches to the air vents on a vehicle dashboard.
The product is intended for use inside vehicles. Do not use it outdoors. Contact with moisture (e.g.
in bathrooms) must be avoided under all circumstances.
For safety reasons, you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. Using the product for purposes
other than those described above may damage the product. In addition, improper use may cause
a fire or other hazards. Read the instructions carefully and store them in a safe place. Make this
product available to third parties only together with its operating instructions.
