Installing SSDs
If the SSDs already contain data, it is necessary to perform a backup before carrying
out the installation.
• Unscrew the screws and nuts attached centrally in front of the four SATA connection strips.
• Connect your SSDs with the connector strips. Do not use any force.
• Secure the SSDs with the screws and nuts in the appropriate screw hole (2230, 2242, 2260,
2280).
Installing the card in the computer
If you do not have the expertise to perform the installation, please arrange for the
installation to be carried out by an expert or a suitable specialist shop!
In case of improper installation, the product as well as your computer and all
connected devices will be damaged.
Caution, lethal hazard!
Switch off the computer where the product is to be installed and turn off all connected
devices. Disconnect all devices from the mains voltage by pulling out the plug from
the mains socket. Just turning off at the on/off switch is not enough!
• Open the housing of your computer and carefully take off the cover of the housing.
• Locate a free PCIe slot, remove the respective slot cover and insert the PCIe card into the
slot.
• Screw the card firmly in place and make sure it is positioned correctly in the slot.
• Close the computer case.
• Connect your computer and monitor to the mains voltage and switch on all of the devices.
• If your computer does not start correctly, switch it off immediately and check all the settings
and cable connections.
Before opening the computer again, it must be disconnected from the mains voltage,
see above!
Software/driver installation
• Insert the enclosed CD into the corresponding drive on your computer.
• Open the file "MSUSetup.exe" (path: MSU\4.1.0.2018) and follow the instructions on the
screen.
To configure a RAID system, follow the instructions in the main directory of the CD
(file name: se-pcie-m2ssdx4-r-ma user manual.pdf).
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the
household waste. At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to
the relevant statutory regulations.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to environmental protection.

SATA ports for the connection of suitable SSDs.
