Installing SSDs

If the SSDs already contain data, it is necessary to perform a backup before carrying

out the installation.

•  Unscrew the screws and nuts attached centrally in front of the four SATA connection strips.
•  Connect your SSDs with the connector strips. Do not use any force.
•  Secure the SSDs with the screws and nuts in the appropriate screw hole (2230, 2242, 2260,

2280).

Installing the card in the computer

If you do not have the expertise to perform the installation, please arrange for the

installation to be carried out by an expert or a suitable specialist shop!

In  case  of  improper  installation,  the  product  as  well  as  your  computer  and  all

devices. Disconnect all devices from the mains voltage by pulling out the plug from

the mains socket. Just turning off at the on/off switch is not enough!

•  Open the housing of your computer and carefully take off the cover of the housing.
•  Locate a free PCIe slot, remove the respective slot cover and insert the PCIe card into the

slot.

•  Screw the card firmly in place and make sure it is positioned correctly in the slot.
•  Close the computer case.
•  Connect your computer and monitor to the mains voltage and switch on all of the devices.
•  If your computer does not start correctly, switch it off immediately and check all the settings

and cable connections.

Before opening the computer again, it must be disconnected from the mains voltage,

see above!

Software/driver installation

•  Insert the enclosed CD into the corresponding drive on your computer.
•  Open the file "MSUSetup.exe" (path: MSU\4.1.0.2018) and follow the instructions on the

screen.

To configure a RAID system, follow the instructions in the main directory of the CD
