Mounting in a server rack
• The power strip can be mounted in a 48.26 cm (19 inch) server rack. You can use the
included materials for mounting the power strip.
• Ensure that the on/off switch is in the off position.
• After installation, connect the switched-off devices to the earth-contact power sockets. When
doing so, pay attention to the available power ratings; see “Technical Data”. Connect the
mains plug of the power strip to a suitable mains socket.
• Remove the cover from the on/off switch. Switch on the power strip with the on/off switch. The
LED power light will go on. Replace the on/off switch cover.
• If the power strip will be out of use for an extended period of time, turn it off. The LED power
light will go out. Unplug the mains plug from the mains socket.
Care and cleaning
• Disconnect the product from the mains socket and the connected devices before cleaning
the product.
• Never use aggressive detergents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions, as these may
damage the housing or cause the product to malfunction.
• Do not immerse the product in water or other liquids.
• Use a dry, lint-free cloth to clean the product.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the
household waste. At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to
the relevant statutory regulations.
