10. Mains Connection
The mains socket to which the effect light is connected must be close to the device
and easily accessible to quickly separate the device from the mains voltage in case of
an error.
Ensure that the voltage indication on the effect light matches the mains voltage of your
power supply. Never try to operate the device with any other voltage.
Do not let the mains cable (7) come into contact with other cables.
Be careful when handling mains cables and mains connections. Mains voltage may
cause potentially fatal electric shock.
Make sure that no cables lie around openly. Install cables professionally to prevent
accidents.
• Plug the mains plug of the mains cable (7) into a grounded socket.
• Once the device is connected to the mains socket, it takes up operation.
11. Operation
a) Setting the Operating Mode
The effect light can be controlled with the integrated controller or with an external DMX control-
ler. Additionally, it can be used as a master device with integrated controller to control other
connected effect lights synchronously in master-slave mode, or as slave device via the controller
of another effect light.
The operating modes are set in the menu via the display (1) and the function buttons MENU (3),
UP (4), DOWN (5) and ENTER (6).
• Press MENU (3) repeatedly to select the desired function.
• Press the ENTER button (6) to confirm your selection.
• Select the desired setting with the UP (4) and DOWN (5) buttons.
• Press the ENTER button (6) to confirm your selection.
• Select the second setting for the menu item (if present) with the UP (4) and DOWN (5) but-
tons.
• Confirm your selection again with ENTER (6).
