Getting started

•  Measure the water depth at the operation

location of the pond aerator and cut the

hose provided to the corresponding length

using sharp scissors or a knife, if neces-

sary.

Make sure that the aerator stone

does not sink to the bottom of the

pond but floats freely in the water.

•  Attach the aerator stone to one end of the

hose.

•  Connect the other end of the hose with the air outlet of the air

pump.

•  To prevent the pond aerator from drifting, you can attach a

string to one of the 6 hooks at the bottom of the pond aerator,

see arrow in the figure on the right.

•  Now place the pond aerator in the water in such a way that the solar module points

upwards.

If the amount of sunlight is sufficient, the air pump will start and bubbles will emerge

from the aerator stone introducing oxygen into the water.

Therefore, the pond aerator should always be placed in a location in the

pond that is exposed to sunlight for long periods of time.

The air suction opening is located in the middle of the solar module.
If a small amount of water gets into the suction opening (e.g. during rain), it will be

forced through the aerator stone by the air pump.

Take the pond aerator out of the pond during frost to avoid damage.

Store in a dry, clean and dark room so that the air pump cannot start (cover

the solar module, if necessary).

Maintenance and cleaning

The product requires no servicing on your part apart from occasional cleaning of the

solar module surface.
Only use a clean, soft cloth moistened with water for cleaning.
Never use aggressive cleaning agents, as these can cause discolouration. To prevent

scratch marks, do not press too strongly on the solar module surface when cleaning.
Algae can form on the aerator stone after a longer period of operation. They can be

removed with a soft brush. Then, check the function of the aerator stone in a bucket

filled with water (direct the solar module towards the sun). If only few air bubbles

appear (despite sufficient exposure of the solar module to sunlight), the aerator stone

must be replaced with a new one.

Disposal

The product must not be disposed of in household waste!

Please dispose of the product, when it is no longer of use, according to the

current statutory requirements.

  Operating instructions

  Solar pond aerator 0.8 Watt

Item no.

Intended use

The product is used to improve the oxygen supply of a water pond. For this purpose,

the product is placed in the pond and floats due to the integrated rigid foam ring.
Depending on the exposure to sunlight, a solar module generates electricity for the

integrated air pump. Using a hose (can be shortened depending on the water depth),

the air is passed to an aerator stone that generates small air bubbles.
Please read these operating instructions carefully to ensure safe use and operation of

the product. Keep these operating instructions in a safe place for future reference. If

you pass the product on to a third party, please pass on these operating instructions

as well.

erating instructions.
