8. Tips for good coffee
• Clean the machine regularly in accordance with these operating instructions.
•
Seal opened packs of coffee and store them in the fridge.
• Grind coffee beans just before you brew your coffee.
• Serve coffee immediately after brewing and do not reheat.
9. Setting up the coffee machine
Read these instructions carefully before you use the coffee machine for the first time.
• Remove the product from its packaging. Dispose of packaging material in accordance with the relevant
legal regulations.
• Clean the machine before using it for the first time as described in “12. Maintenance and cleaning” on
page 24.
• It is possible that the machine may contain manufacturing residues. Remove these by completing
3 brewing cycles without coffee grinds. Read “10. Operation” on page 22 for information on how to
operate the machine.
• After you have completed 3 brewing cycles without coffee grinds, let the machine cool down to room
temperature and clean it as described in “12. Maintenance and cleaning” on page 24.
