Tablet stand for iPad

Intended use
This height-adjustable tablet stand fits iPad 2, 3, 4 and Air. It consists of an elegant aluminium tube
with built-in cable guide on the back and a stable foot made of steel. The solid lockable case offers
protection against theft and manipulation. The case‘s tilt angle for iPad attachment is adjustable.
The case bracket on the stand tube is compatible with VESA brackets 75 x 75 mm and 100 x 100 mm.
If you use the product for purposes other than those described above, the product may be
damaged. Read the instructions carefully and keep them. Make this product available to third
parties only together with its operating instructions.

Safety instructions
Read the operating instructions carefully and especially observe the safety
information. If you do not follow the safety instructions and information on proper
handling in this manual, we assume no liability for any resulting personal injury or
damage to property. Such cases will invalidate the warranty/guarantee.
• The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. These may become
dangerous playing material for children.
• The product is intended for use in dry indoor spaces only.
• Follow the operating instructions of your iPad.
• Verify that the delivery content is complete before assembling the product. Do not
assemble the product if the delivery content is not complete.
• Assembling the product in an unsuitable location can lead to personal injury and
property damage!
• Exercise caution when assembling the product! The product has some sharp
corners which pose a risk of injury!
• Only carry out the steps required for assembly. Never attempt to modify or repair the
product. Do not alter the product in any way.
• Work on a clean, soft and dry surface. Protect valuable furniture surfaces with a
suitable pad when assembling the product.
• Do not over-tighten the screws. Over-tightening the screws may cause damage to
the threading and can impair the strength of screw connections.
• Lay the iPad cable so that it cannot be bent or crimped between the two housing
halves.
• Check all screw connections from time to time. Screw connections may loosen over
time due to adjusting and moving the product.
• Do not overstrain the tablet stand. Refer to the values specified under technical data.
Do not lean against or hang onto the tablet stand. Do not fasten any objects to the
tablet stand other than a suitable iPad.
• In case of doubt, do not assemble the product yourself; have a professional do it
for you.
Assembly
Assembly on the floor is permitted only when the floor is suitable for assembly. Thin
floors or laminate flooring are usually not suitable for assembly. A specialist shop may
offer special fastening material for such locations. Contact a professional before
assembly in case of doubt.
Use assembly material (screws, dowels, etc.) that is suitable for the surface (e.g.
concrete). The included dowel screws are suitable for solid flooring only. Special
dowels and screws are not included with the product and must be purchased
separately, depending on the type of floor.
Plan the assembly site carefully to ensure that the tablet stand is in the desired
position after assembly.
When drilling and tightening the screws, make sure no cables or wires below the floor
are damaged. Accidentally drilling into electrical wiring poses a risk of fatal injury due
to electric shock!
Keep your own safety in mind when handling power tools (e.g. power drill). Observe
the safety instructions in the respective manuals.
Make sure that no unauthorized persons are in the assembly area during assembly.
Also observe the corresponding images in the included assembly instructions.

• Determine the position at the assembly site. Mark the necessary drill holes on the assembly
surface. Use the stand (C) as a template.
• Fasten the stand tube (A) with the plastic bracket (D) to the stand using the four screws (L). Use
a suitable Phillips screwdriver to do so.

Assembly on concrete floors
• Drill the required holes and insert the dowels (N).
• Fasten the stand to the floor using the four screws (M). The nonslip rubber feet should face
downward.
Assembly on wooden floors
• Drill the required holes.
• Fasten the stand to the floor using suitable screws (not included). The nonslip rubber feet should
face downward.

• If the case (B) is locked, open it using the key (E). Open the case lid.
• Depending on your iPad model, insert the silicone cushions (F, G) for iPad 2, 3, 4 or the silicone
cushions (H, I, J, K) for iPad Air into the respective corners. Close the case lid.

• The box can be fastened to the stand tube in vertical or horizontal position as needed. Fasten
the case to the stand tube bracket using the four screws (P). Use a suitable Phillips screwdriver
to do so.

• Open the case lid.
• Guide the iPad’s connection cable into the case from below through the oblong hole, connect
it to your iPad. Then place the iPad in the case. Make sure that the iPad lies correctly in the
notches on the silicone cushions.

• Close the case lid. You can lock the case using the key (E) if desired.

• Use the hex key (0) to loosen the two screws for height adjustment on the back of the stand. Set
the desired height for the tablet stand and retighten the screws.
• Slightly loosen the screw for angle adjustment beneath the case to set the desired tilt angle.
Then retighten the screw.
• Lay the cable, front to back, into the cable guide and attach the two cable clips (Q) to the rail
which is located at the upper, more narrow part and the two cable clips (R) to the lower, wider
part of the stand tube. The position of the cable clips can be adjusted in the stand tube rail as
needed.

• Adjust the height and tilt angle of the case as depicted.
The HOME button on your iPad is accessible. You can cover it using the plastic
cover (S) on the case as needed.
Maintenance and cleaning
• The product is maintenance-free and does not require any care except for occasional cleaning
with a soft, dry cloth.
• Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions as they
can cause damage to the housing.
