Connection, setup and operation
•
Connect the OTG hub to the micro USB port on your Android device. The operational
status indicator turns on.
•
You can now insert USB peripheral devices such as a mouse, keyboard or a USB
stick or a card reader for memory cards. Android automatically recognises the
storage device or other devices. The mouse or keyboard can be used straight away.
The file browser is opened automatically when a memory card or stick is inserted.
•
It is also possible to combine devices and storage media. However, this is limited by
the maximum current that can be delivered by your smartphone or tablet. Only one
storage medium can be read and written to at the same time.
Some USB devices have a higher current consumption than mobile devices.
They cannot be connected to the OTG hub.
External HDDs cannot be used.
•
Before removing a device, USB stick or memory card, it should be safely removed
within the operating system. Failing to do so may damage your data or the storage
device. (Refer to the operating instructions for your Android device)
