•  Connect the appliance to a wall socket that can be accessed easily.
•  If the power adapter is damaged, do not touch it; there is danger to life from electric 

shock! First, switch off the mains voltage to the mains socket to which the power 

adapter is connected (switch off at the corresponding circuit breaker or remove the 

safety fuse, then switch off at the corresponding RCD protective switch, so that all 

poles of the mains socket are disconnected). You can then unplug the power adapter 

from the mains socket. Dispose of the faulty power adapter in an environmentally 

friendly way; do not use it any more. 

•  Consult an expert when in doubt about operation, safety or connection of the device.
•  Maintenance,  modifications  and  repairs  are  to  be  performed  exclusively  by  an 

expert or at a qualified shop.

•  If you have questions which remain unanswered by these operating instructions, 

contact our technical support service or other technical personnel.

Connection

•  Make sure there is a clearance of at least 50 mm between the LED power adapter and other 

objects/surfaces when installing the product.

•  Connect the plug of the LED light with the low-voltage output jack of the LED power adapter. The 

length of the cable from the LED light to the LED power adapter must not exceed 2m.

•  Connect the LED power adapter to a standard household power socket.
•  Finally, make sure the LED power adapter is correctly connected.

Maintenance and cleaning

•  This product does not require maintenance. There are no components located inside the product 

you need to maintain. Never open/dismantle the product. Have maintenance and repairs done 

by qualified experts or repair shops only.

•  Disconnect the product from the power supply before cleaning. To clean the product, a dry, 

soft and clean cloth is sufficient. You can use a long-haired, soft and clean brush and a vacuum 

cleaner to remove dust.

•  Never use any aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions as they may cause damage to 

the housing or the product to malfunction.

Disposal

Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the household 

waste.
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory 

regulations.
You  thus  fulfil  your  statutory  obligations  and  contribute  to  the  protection  of  the 

environment.

Intended use 

The LED power adapter is specially designed as a power supply for LED lighting. The product is 

protected against short-circuiting, overload and overheating. 
Item no. 1217845: suitable for LED applications with 12 V/DC operating voltage
Item no. 1217846: supplies constant output current of 350 mA
For safety and approval purposes (CE), you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. If you 

use the product for purposes other than those described above, the product may be damaged. In 

addition, improper use can cause hazards such as short circuiting, fire, electric shock etc. Read 

the instructions carefully and keep them. Make this product available to third parties only together 

with its operating instructions.

Read the operating instructions carefully and especially observe the safety 

information. If you do not follow the safety instructions and information on proper 

handling in this manual, we assume no liability for any resulting personal injury or

•  The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.

Data). Do not exceed the maximum ambient temperature (ta). 

•  Never immerse the product into water or other liquids.
•  Make sure there is sufficient clearance between the product and other objects.
•  Only connect the power adapter to a normal mains socket connected to the public 

supply. Before plugging in the power adapter, check whether the voltage stated on 

the power adapter complies with the voltage of your electricity supplier.
