Table 4.6 lists the pin assignments of 40-wire half-pitch connector (J3) for connecting the
PCA4029. And Figure 4.4 shows the J3 connector pin layout.

(2) J4 connector
For the J4 connector, use the 2-wire external trigger signal cable included with your M34282T5-
OPT board. Connect the black clip to GND and the white clip to the external trigger signal input.
An external trigger signal is used to cause an external trigger break or set an external trigger-
based trace point. Table 4.7 lists the pin assignments of the J4 connector.
