Cleaning the condensation
pump (accessory)
An optional integrated or separate
condensation pump may be
included with the indoor unit,
which pumps out any accumulated
condensation into higher
positioned drains.
Observe the care and maintenance
instructions given in the separate
operating manual

1 Fold the guard forwards
Cleaning the housing
1. Disconnect the power supply to
the unit.
2. Open the air intake grill on the
front and fold it forwards or
down.
3. Clean the grill and housing
using a soft, damp cloth.
4. Close the grill.
5. Reconnect the power supply.
Air filter for indoor unit
Clean the air filter at intervals of
no more than 2 weeks. Reduce
this interval in case of continuous
operation or heavily soiled air.
Cleaning the filter
1. Disconnect the power supply to
the unit.
2. Open the front side of the
unit by folding the grill down/
forwards.
3. Pull the filter out in an upwards
direction
(Fig. 1)

4. Clean the filter with an ordinary
vacuum cleaner
(Fig. 2)
.
To do so, turn the dirty side
upward.
5. Any dirt can also be removed
carefully with lukewarm water
and mild cleaning agents
(Fig. 3)
.
To do so, turn the dirty side
downward.
6. When using water, allow
the filter to first dry out fully in
the open air before reinserting
it into the unit.
7. Carefully insert the filter. Make
sure it is seated correctly.
8. Close the front side as
described above but in reverse
order.
9. Switch the power supply back
on.
10. Switch the unit back on.
