STRAIGHTENER
•
Before use, ensure the hair is clean, dry and tangle-free.
•
Section the hair prior to styling. Style the lower layers first.
•
Plug the product into the mains power supply, and press and hold
down the on/off button to switch the straightener on.
•
The digital display window will light up, and the temperature
setting will default to 190°C. The blue back light on the digital
display window and the bars in the right of the digital display
window will flash while the plates are heating to the temperature
selected. When the temperature selected has been reached, the
blue back light on the digital display window and the bars on the
right of the window will be steady.
•
To select a higher temperature press the '+' temperature increase
button. To select a lower temperature press the '–' temperature
decrease button. The temperatures will increase or decrease in
10°C steps.
•
The straightener will be ready to use in 15 seconds depending on
the temperature selected.
•
Holding down the '+' button for 2 seconds will activate the
turbo boost function, and will automatically select the highest
temperature at 230°C. Holding down the '–' button for 2 seconds
will activate the temperature lock function. Use this to avoid
accidentally altering the temperature during use.
•
Take extra care when using the straightener, as it can get very
hot. It is important to establish the correct temperature for
your hair type prior to use, to prevent over drying or damage
to your hair. If in doubt, start with the low temperature setting
first, and increase the temperature gradually by pressing the '+'
temperature increase button
•
To switch your straightener off, press and hold the on/off switch
for 2 seconds.
