Manual Signal Reception:
As previously indicated, in normal operation the clock’s time setting is updated daily at 3:00AM. If you want to
update the time at any point during the day, you may do so by following the below instructions. (Note: For best
reception of the radio signal, place the clock on a table near a window.)
While the clock is in the Time Keeping mode:
1. Press S5 (Wave) once for manual signal reception (The second hand stops at 12 o’clock position during signal
reception. But the minute hand advances one step every 60 seconds)
2. The clock takes about 5 to 14 minutes to pick up the radio signal.
3. After signal reception, the clock will show the time again after the fast running of the second-hand has stopped.
4. Push S1 3 times after the clock resumes working to check if the reception was successful or if it failed.
a. If the reception was successful, the clock will speak “Country Name” followed by
“Time Updated”. Example: “USA, Time Updated”.
b. If the reception failed, the clock will speak ”Country Name” followed by
“Time Not Updated”. Example: “USA, Time Not Updated”.
5. If the reception failed, try moving the clock to another location (preferably close to a window) and repeat the
above steps. If reception fails after several attempts, the radio signal may not be strong enough in your location.
Time may also be set manually. Please refer to Manual Time Setting section.
