Regeneration
Perform the regeneration once a week. Duration: approx. 15 min. During this time no water
removal is possible. The regeneration must not be interrupted.
Open the tap.
Switch on the device with the main switch (2).
Switch off the connection device (e.g REITEL
“TRONADA”).
Turn the rotary switch for regeneration (4) clockwise until it stops.
Wait for the process to complete.
Troubleshooting
Device doesn’t turn on.
a. Check fuses in the building.
b. Check device fuse
Device fuse has triggered.

Disconnect the mains plug and replace
the fuse (9).
Lid (3) pops off. Leaking solenoid valve, inform customer
service.
Regenerating salt indicator (10) lights up
red. Regenerating salt quantity insufficient, top
refill regenerating salt according to chapter
3.2.
Connection device calcified (for example
steam cleaner). a. No regenerating salt in the container.
b. Regeneration failed.
c. Intervals too long (please observe the
maintenance cycles according to
chapter 4.2 Regeneration).
Maintenance
•
Check the device at regular intervals for visible damage to housing or power cord.
•
Please observe the intervals for regeneration according to chapter 4.
•
Periodically clean the housing with a damp cloth.
Note
Clean and protect your device at regular intervals with the REITEL stainless steel care
spray (order -no.: 90405) to remove lime, plaster and dust as well as other
contaminants from the surface of the equipment and to prevent corrosion. The spray
creates a lasting, water repellent protective film which helps keep the equipment clean.
