4 fILLING THE MaGazINE
Only those fasteners specified under technical data
(see 1) may be used.
When filling the magazine, hold the tool so that the
muzzle is not pointing towards own body or towards
any other person.
Do not load the tool with fasteners with the safety
yoke or trigger depressed.
Press the locking lever (l) and pull the top of the
magazine (o) back. finishing nails and T-nails are
inserted point first in the centre of the magazine.
Staples are pushed over the ridge of the magazine.
Then push the top magazine forward until it locks
into place.
Nails and staples may not be in the magazine at the
same time.
5 fIL PENETRaTIoN DEPTH SETTING
The penetration depth of the nail head can be
controlled by means of the air pressure. If this is
not satisfactory, the penetration setting offers a
more accurate adjustment of the penetration depth.
adjustment is only possible in the unpressurized
condition.
Change the penetration depth by turning the setting
ring(qu) using the allen key supplied or a pin with max.
diameter of 4.5 mm (0.18 inch).
Turning from hole to hole in the setting ring causes a
change by 0.2 mm (0.008 inch). The setting distance
is 6 mm (0.236 inch). The setting can be judged by the
distance of the screw head in relation to the contact
face on the flange (k) (max. distance = 6 mm (0.236
inch), largest penetration depth of the fastener).
6 NaIL GuIDaNCE (fIG. 1 aND 2)
Towards the front the driver channel is closed by
flexible means. When distortion of a fastener occurs
the channel is flexibly widened and the distorted
fastener is automatically discharged. The nailer
continues to be operational.
Extreme jamming can be eliminated without the aid
of tools. In this case, disconnect the nailer from the
supply hose without fail.
