Size: Base: 16"L x 13"W x 2.25"H, Car: 4" L x 2.75"W x 3"H
Base requires: 1-9 Volt batteries, Car requires: 2 AAA batteries.
Operation:
1.
The Mini Racer requires 2 AAA batteries (Not included). Use alkaline
batteries only (e.g. Duracell or Energizer brand). Do not use rechargeable
batteries or any other type of batteries because they supply lower voltage
and the unit will not perform properly. Never mix old and new batteries
together or different brands or types together.
2.
To install the batteries in the Mini Racer, first turn the car over. Next using a
Philips Head screwdriver, remove the screw on the battery cover then lift up
and remove the cover. Install 2 AAA batteries following proper (+) & (-)
battery placement. Replace battery cover and screw. Turn the Mini Racer’s
ON/OFF switch located on the bottom of the car to ON.
3.
To install the battery for the base, turn the base over and install one 9 Volt
battery. Alkaline batteries are required for this toy. Turn the ON/OFF toggle
switch to ON.
4.
This big button base controller allows the user to move the Mini Racer
forward, reverse, and spin. Slight pressure on any of the control buttons will
drive the Mini Racer. Once you release pressure on the button the Mini
Racer will stop.
For best results only drive the Mini Racer in the base or
on smooth surfaces.
5.
When you are finished using the Mini Racer turn the ON/OFF switch to
OFF, this will help conserve battery power. The big button controller’s
ON/OFF switch should also be turned OFF. If the Mini Racer is not going to
be used for a long period of time, e.g. one month or longer, we recommend
removing the batteries from the Mini Racer and controller during storage to
prevent battery drain or leakage, which can cause damage to the Mini Racer
and big button controller.
Troubleshooting:
Problem:
Mini Racer is not running.
Action:
Make sure batteries in the Mini Racer and the controller are fresh and
installed following proper (+) & (-) battery placement.
Problem:
Mini Racer is running intermittently.
Action:
Replace batteries in the remote control and Mini Racer Weak batteries
will severely limit the normal transmitting range of your remote control.
Problem:
Mini Racer does not react, or reacts poorly to operation by controller.
Cause:
High-frequency interference occurred near to high-voltage lines,
transformers and some types of building.
Action:
Avoid these if possible, or choose another place to operate the Mini
Racer.
Problem:
Loss of control.
Cause:
Another radio control vehicle using the same frequency is operated near
your vehicle. Out of sight or the control range of distance. (15 to 20 feet.)
Please Note: do not use two Mini Racers
near each other.
Action:
Move to another place where radio frequency interference from another
device or vehicle is not present.
Care of Unit:
The Mini Racer can be wiped clean with any household multi-purpose cleaner
and disinfectant. We recommend Simple Green, which is a non toxic
biodegradable all-purpose cleaner.
Do not submerge
the unit, as it will damage the contents and the electrical
components.
Do not use abrasive cleaners,
as they will scratch the surface of the unit.
