Using the product for individuals weighing more than 295 kg may pose a
risk of tipping or damaging the rollator.
TO ASSEMBLE
Open the box and find the following:
- Walker
- 2 handles only connected to the walker by the cord
- Basket
- Back
1. Unfold the walker.
2. Remove the screws for adjusting the height.
3. Insert the tubes for the handles in the walker.
4. Mount the back onto the walker by pulling the knobs on the left and right
side of the walker. By turning the knob 90 degrees you can lock the knob
in the “open” position. Slide in the tubes and turn the knob back.
WARNING:
Ensure that the back is securely fastened.
5. The basket is hung onto the upper tube (just below the seat).
6. Finally the height of the handles is adjusted.
7. Ensure that the brakes are correctly adjusted.
TO REPLACE OR REMOVE BACKREST
The backrest is placed on the walker to ensure that the weight is not placed
too much in front, which can result in tipping of the walker. We strongly
recommend to only use the walker with the backrest mounted onto the
walker.
1. Pull the knob on the left and right side of the walker. Lock the knob in the
“open” position by pulling AND turning the knob 90 degrees.
2. Slide the backrest onto the walker.
3. Make sure to turn back the knobs so they lock the backrest in place.
Reverse procedure if dismounting the backrest.
ADJUSTING THE HEIGHT OF THE HANDLES
1. Remove the screws and the knob.
2. Find the required height and insert the screw.
3. Tighten the screw by turning the knob. Make sure the screw fits in the
cut-out.
Adjust the height of the handles so that they are even with your hip joint.
WARNING:
Always remember to tighten the hand nuts for height
adjustment.
HOW TO FOLD THE WALKER
1. Grab the front of the seat (the side closest to you when walking) with one
hand. Hold one of the handles with the other hand.
2. Lift the seat.
3. The walker now folds.
To minimize the size of an already folded walker, remove the back and basket.
THE BRAKES
The walker can brake in two ways:
1. If you stop for a brief moment: Squeeze the handle and the brakehandle
together, so the brake-handle makes an upward move.
2. If you wish to stop for a longer period, e.g. sit and rest, push both brake-
handles down, so that they lock in a “down” position. The handles stay
in this position until you release them by squeezing the handle and the
brake-handle together.
BRAKE INSPECTION
Your supplier ensures that the brakes are set properly at delivery.
Brake operation, and parking brake should be checked every time before it
is used.
If the parking brake cannot lock or if the brakes are not working correctly,
you should immediately contact your dealer.
The brakes should have a service check every 3 months.
