INSTALLATION

Ensure the rubber gasket, which is prefi tted as part of the Assembly,
is properly positioned. Install the new Pressure Regulator using the 2x
M4 x .7 screws supplied. Tighten the screws to 25lb-in. In the event that
the screw threads are cross threaded or stripped, replace the valve
assembly.
Install the enclosed propane identifi cation label to the valve body where it
can be easily seen.

Re-attach the Pressure Regulator wire, and re-situate the Gas Valve,
secure the screws that fasten the Gas Valve Mounting Brackets.

Using a 3/8” socket wrench, loosen and remove the main gas orifi ce.
Replace with the LP gas orifi ce #53. Confi rm the orifi ce size marked on
the Orifi ce with the Rating Label on the appliance
Important:
DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN - this can cause the pilot hood to
miss the fl ame sensor.

Ensure the pilot light is in the correct orientation to the Burner.
Reconnect the gas and electrical supply to the appliance. Start the
appliance. (see section on Lighting Instructions) Ensure that pilot and
burner ignition is completed without delay. Check both your inlet and
outlet pressures at full load. With a soapy solution, leak test the entire
system. Verify both the correct fl ame and pilot appearance.

Pilot Orifi ce – PSE Pilot Equipped Systems

Loosen the pilot target hex fi tting 1/3 turn with a 7/16 wrench as shown
below.
9)
Remove existing orifi ce and replace with LP pilot orifi ce.
10)
Reinstall pilot target hex fi tting, tighten until pilot target aligns with the
fl ame sensor as shown below.
