No electrical power supply is required for the gas control to operate. 120 Volt
AC power is needed for the lights. A receptacle box, receptacle and cover are
provided and located on the left hand side of the unit, under the outer base panel.
Electrical power must be brought to the appliance by a licensed
electrician.

UTION
• Label all wires prior to disconnection when servicing controls. Wiring errors can cause improper and dangerous operation.
• Ensure that the wires do not touch any hot surfaces and are away from sharp edges.
• The IFC (Intermittent Fireplace Control) serves as the power source for this unit when plugged into a 120-volt receptacle.
The 4 x AA batteries in the battery holder are recommended as a backup in case 120-volt power is lost within the home.
• If replacing any of the wiring or wiring harnesses supplied with the appliance, you must purchase the same wiring or wiring
harnesses that came with the appliance. Do not substitute wiring.
• This appliance is equipped with a three-prong (grounding) plug for your protection against shock hazard and should be
plugged directly into a properly grounded three-prong receptacle. Do not cut or remove the grounding prong from this plug.
