APPLICATION:
The BA BATEQ4 Battery Equaliser may be used on 12V lead-acid batteries which
are connected in series to maintain equal battery voltage balance.
When the batteries are connected in series, the voltages may vary due to
impedance differences, the cell chemical composition and temperature. One
battery may go high and another low so that one becomes under charged and
the other over-charged. The battery equaliser will equalise/balance the battery
voltage when it detects there is more than 20mV voltage difference between
two batteries. It will shunt current from one battery (the higher voltage one) to
the other battery (the lower voltage one). Until their battery voltage are both
20mV of each other
. This will improve battery’s performance and extend battery
life.
The BA BATEQ4 Battery equaliser may be used for 24V, 36V, 48V and any other
12V battery system. The BA BATEQ4 can equalise up to 4 cells/batteries.
