POWER SUPPLY
This model can use tow types of power sources.
Built-in lithium battery (2000mAh)
1) This device has a rechargeable lithium battery (2000mAh). Charge the device fully
before using it for the first time (approximately 4 hours).
2) While the device is being charged, the LED charging indicator above the USB DC
connection lights up red.
Alkaline battery (4x AAA Batteries)
1. Open the battery compartment cover.
2. Press the switch to switch the power source from integrated battery mode to
battery mode.
Note:

If the device is not used for a long period of time, charge the device every 2-
3 months to avoid a loss of battery power.
BATTERY CHARGING
The integrated battery can be charged in 3 different ways.
DC charging socket:

Use a DC 5V charging adapter (not included) with 5V 1A to charge the device.
Hand crank:

Use the hand crank to charge the integrated battery even if there is no socket
available.
Solar panel:

The device charges the integrated battery as soon as there is enough sunlight
available.
Note:

The integrated battery is also charged when the device is in battery mode.

Inserted AAA batteries are isolated and cannot be charged.

You achieve the highest charging performance by using the DC charging
socket.
