Redback® A 4942
3 Pin XLR - Cat5 Extender (Receiver)
OVERVIEW:
The Redback® A 4942 receives audio from compatible Redback® Cat5e/6 transmitters and converts the signal to a balanced
XLR output. The output level is DIP switch selectable, and the ouput volume is screwdriver adjusted via the trimpot on the
front of the unit.
The unit is powered from 24V DC, which can be connected to the DC socket on the rear of the unit, or it can be supplied
through the Cat5/6 cabling from other compatible Redback® products. A 24V DC plugpack is supplied for connection to
the DC socket.
The Redback® A 4942 can be connected to compatible Redback® products such as the A 4940 and A 4944. These products
have either a 3 pin XLR (A 4940) or Dual RCA (A 4944) input and transmit this audio down the Cat5/6 cabling to the A 4942.
