Satellite Synchronization

page allows you to initially populate your Satellite with software

channel metadata. This is possible during installation only if you chose to register your Satellite

with RHN. To synchronize, select the

Perform Satellite Sync

checkbox and click

Continue

.

After the installation, you will still need to populate the channels with packages. Refer to Chap-

ter 6

Importing and Synchronizing

for instructions. The

page appears next.
